The Private candidate web site is campaigning to improve access for private GCSE and A level candidates.

By improving access and in turn flexibility it will have a radical change of how education is seen in this country.

By allowing candidates to sit exams at the time and location of their choosing, it opens up a range of solutions. Allowing pupils to focus on learning and not of the cliff edge. We strongly believe that exams have a big part for university and skills course grading, entry and access in tertiary education.

By prompting the use of computer based exams will give industry the solution to be flexible and improve access. There are decades of research of how computer based exams can be deployed in a successful manner.

Surely, covid 19 has given us the energy and drive to change the system.
