Here at the Private candidate site have a few pointers for policy makers. Some of which can be found on our About page.
Here are 6 points to consider:
Remove as much course work and school assessment as possible. Aiming where possible .ie. not including art, design and music, to be get this down to 0 coursework.
Do not require pupils to do the 12 / 13 different science practicals to be given a grade in their science A level.
Express to all student that they can take their exams in an exam centre of their choosing. With the ease of moving. Discolating the location of learning to the place of exams and assessments.
Increase the number of times GCSES and A levels can be sat through the year.
Where possible and suitable make GCSE and A level exams computer based where possible.
