The pandemic has led a great deal of secondary school exam candidates to learn through zoom calls and recorded videos. Esstientially prepping or rendering their way of learning through screen based live and recorded videos.
This makes the first youtube generation.
How the rise of ubitiquious video learning will make schools and colleges have to up their game and change. It is questionable whether a sixth form college is worth going to when the quality of lectures are better online.
No doubt schools have a range of jobs. Including social, maternal and sporting. While running high quality learning environmnents. If for the majority of pupils learning can be done through videos in a more effective manner this will mean schools have to improve their offering across what they offer. Or parents and pupils now look at a viable low cost solution and become an private candidates.
The revolution of video on demand has only just began. Elon Musk wants to put mobile phones in our brains. Removing the handset all together. Making learning videos can be accessed anywhere at any time.
With the new rapid mobile connection, the idea of studying in a lecture or classroom hall will seen to be remarkably backward.
