Will the re nationalisation / rationalisation of the UK's rail franchises set the tone for a change in the secondary school Exam landscape.
Here at the Private candidate web site support group hope the Government take the same approach to exams as they did to the railway.
Rationalise and almagmate the systems and processes. While bringing them all up to date.
E.g. the Uk's train network will have one over acrhing ticking system. The train and tracks will be under one organisation. Rather than the disjointed ownership and franchised ticking we currently have.
Visa Ve the idea of scrapping the range of different exam boards and exam systems. Simplifing, streamlining the secondary school exams.
The up shot of this will mean more opportunities to sit exams throughout the year. Bringing the cost down , the quality up and the availabiity up. Driving the private candidates opportunity to sit exams where and when they choose.
Out will go the array of different exam boards. All with their different systems, prices and standards. But who fail to innovate due to their history and current status quo with Gov. funding.
More opportunities to sit exams throughout the year both phyiscal scripts or delivered and written on screen.
