Secondary school exams touch us all.
With this pandemc coming through the whole population.
It is an interesting time to compare how the pandemic which has affected everyone of us. Like 80 percent of the population now having anti bodies. More than 80 percent of pupils through the education system sit GCSEs and A levels.
It is a rare case for a pupil not to sit exams at any point through their education. H
This is why we must improve both bio secruity and exams.
There is no doubt we have value in the GCSE and A level exams for pupils to reflect on progress. Schools and colleges work hard to deploy exams when they come around.
There is so much pent up innovation around exams which is waiting for the regulation to adapt before it can be deployed. Here at the Private Candidates we stongly believe ministers need to adjust the ofqual regulation to encourage the flexibility of exams. Reducing compulsory course work and giving the options and marketing that exams are portable. Perhaps the bio security will reduce the large exam halls which are common in schools. Increasing computer based exams. Deploying exams when pupils are ready not when the school or exam board says the exams need to go ahead. We have discussed how the future of the block chain may help with this future.
We just are the very beginning of a radical change in the world of change.
