  • Can add all the fun and amusement into learning as suits the pupil. Bare in mind that a lot of education is entertainment.
  • Allows families to improve the bonding.
  • Provide the type of teaching that is suitable for the pupils.
  • Spend the most about of time possible with the pupils. Improving flexible.
  • Shelter children from the ravages of a poorly run school that is ill suiting in their needs.
  • Focus on the extra talent that the children and pupils might have. E.g. Sport or music. Along with the acedemic.
  • Take full control of when the children are ready to sit exams.

Disadvantages of learning at home and being a private candidate

Working from home can be distruptive Children can misbehave. Unprofessional teacher / learner opportunities. Can be expensive to bring in private tutors. Often local exam centres are inflexiblbe

Do not have the buying power of schools. So books and materials can be expensive.

Struggle to find the marole and ambition that comes from well run classrooms. Do not have the suppport of a range of teachers

Constantly motivation can be a real strain of family.

Struggle to find friends while not at school.
