There are nearly half a million pupils who have access to one sort of access arrangements or another. Straight out of Ofqual's new statistics released today. With a good percentage of them being private exam candidates.
This 500K pupils who have access arrangements is a pretty high number. It is at least 10 percent.
The question is do you think there is quite a bit of room for fraud? THere is something about access arranagements that seems to be for the majority of pupils a sense that earnst parents spend monemy of education pyschologists who do their bidding.
The relationship between normal ways of working and the paid eduction physcologist makes for a cosy relationship that has to be questioned.
Obviously the challenge of private candiates is who can give the normal ways of working when the exam centre would not otherwise have a relationship with the candidate.
